Polynesian Shores 225. Everything you need for your Maui dream vacation is here... just bring your suntan lotion and flip-flops and enjoy the Hawaiian sunshine. This condo has recently been refurbished to make your stay even more enjoyable. It sleeps up to six guests with a king`-sized bed in the loft bedroom, twin beds in the downstairs bedroom, and a sofa bed in the living room. Comfortably furnished island style, it is decorated with authentic island art and photographs. For indoor entertainment, a large cable TV and DVD/CD player are provided. Enjoy the panoramic views of the islands of Lanai and Molokai on the horizon, as well as the manicured grounds, pool, and tropical landscaping. Join new friends on the ocean's edge at sunset to cap off another great day in Paradise!

A LITTLE ABOUT OUR PROPERTY....
Polynesian Shores is a beautiful oceanfront resort. Sit on your private lanai enjoy the fragrant plumeria trees, the sound of the waves breaking against the shoreline, you will enjoy the breeze of the palm trees. Take in the breathtaking view of the vast ocean, seeing the island of Molokai and Lanai. You will be able to see sea turtles swimming close to the rocky shore. In the winter months the Whales as they play near the surface, you can see the mist from their blow sprouts, tails slap on the Pacific Ocean. Take pleasure in our pool and hot tub, or barbecue up a delicious mean on the barbecue's and enjoy a picnic table on our beautifully well manicured grounds that overlook the ocean. In the evening enjoy the tiki torches and the spectacular Maui Sunsets . We are family friendly resort. We also have free parking for each condo, free internet, and an onsite laundry room, bring your own laundry soap & quarters. This is a smoke/vape free property.

WHERE ARE WE...
Our property is direct oceanfront property with unobstructed ocean views, located between the beautiful resorts of Ka'anapali and Kapalua. Honokowai, is special little neighborhood, many people pass by and wave a "shaka" at you! You can walk to local bars, restaurants, and Farmers Market Maui, which sells fresh organic local produce. A large times market and a food truck park. There's places to rent beach gear, mopeds, all within walking distance. We are close to several beach parks and world famous golf courses, located both up and down the coast. Only a few minutes away from the Whalers Village on world famous Ka'anapali Beach, home to the Whale Museum, along with numerous shops, restaurants and art galleries.

COME SEE ALL MAUI HAS TO OFFER...
A sunset cruise around the island makes for a perfect romantic evening. If you’re curious about what goes on under the waves, snorkeling tours are a great way to view the incredible variety of life that lives under the surface of the ocean. Helicopter tours are an excellent way to take in views of the whole island, including incredible waterfalls, sea cliffs, and forests you would be hard pressed to view on foot. For those looking for a little more excitement, check out the zip lines at the Haleakala Skyline Tour. There's also Horseback riding tours. Road to Hana, which has 620 curves and 59 bridges, the road leads you through flowing waterfalls, flourishing rainforest, plunging pools and dramatic seascapes. Maui has some of the worlds most famous beaches to check out.

  We just returned from a one week vacation in Maui. We loved Polynesian Shores. The property is well maintained and the other guests are very friendly. It isn’t air conditioned so the upstairs room can get very hot. I mentioned it to the management and they told me they had just ordered more fans. Our dishwasher stopped working and they sent a maintenance person over immediately. Turns out it needed a new control panel. They planned to fix it the following day. Pool is lovely, a nice temperature and the outdoor grills had lights. Overall a wonderful experience!

  The unit was in an incredible location; steps from the shoreline. Watched sea turtles from the lanai. Unit was clean, comfortable, well appointed. Great communication from management. Nice quiet community. Safe. Grounds well cared for. Wifi available. Within a mile of grocery store. Far enough away from central shopping to feel like you are in residential rather than tourist area. Immediate shore not easy access to swimming but a number of beautiful beaches within 1-2 miles both directions. Provided beach chairs and beach towels. Laundry available on site. Spectacular views and non-stop humpback whale activity daily. Can’t wait to visit again.

The whole complex is also very well maintained, clean, organized; right next to a wonderful marine ecosystem in the the tide pools; we had the chance to see a few turtles right next to us.   We have been staying at polynesian shores for years now and have stayed in many different units. We love 225 for its convenience as my parents always stay in 125. I will say that everything is great in the unit except for the beds/bedding. They feel shabby and not completely clean. Also, the mattresses could definitely be replaced.

    Mahalo for your feedback. We will definitely take a look at the bedding although the beds were replaced about 3 years ago. We have come to find that people have different preferences on the firmness of mattresses and these may not fulfill your preference. So sorry about that!

  We’ve stayed in the Kahana area three different times in different locations but this condo at Polynesian Shores was our favorite. #225 has an amazing view and the condo and complex had everything we needed. The condo does not have AC but the cool ocean air flowed nicely through the condo with the louvered windows open. The pool and BBQ grills at the complex were fantastic and the ocean and sunset views can’t be beat. We will definitely be back!

  We love this condo complex. The beach access requires climbing down a hill mild to moderate difficult. The pool is great washer and dryer on site. The ice machine wasn't working and the beds were too soft and were singles.

  We have stayed many times at these condos, first time in this unit, we loved the location of #225 and the condition of the unit. The fans need to be updated, they were extremely coated with heavy dust, and we could have used a mop as we were there 10 days, we did request that from the office, but none were available. The office staff was helpful, especially Tina, hopefully I got her name correctly.

  We had a wonderful time and plan to return. The room location is great and the view is without flaw. We plan to make this trip again soon. There were a couple of negatives. We loved sitting on the lanai early in the morning when the sprinklers were on. Unfortunately they were a little out of adjustment and would spray the 2nd floor lanai. In addition, if your stay is more than a few days, be prepared to do lots of laundry, washing towels and bedding.

  This vacation condominium is so relaxing and peaceful. From the moment you walk in to find this self equipped kitchen laid out so clean and neat with a welcoming pineapple on the counter, to the amazing view from the balcony, just feet away from the shore, you know this will be the best vacation! As this was our third time returning to Polynesian Shores, #225, we were not disappointed! During our nine day stay we were treated to the most wonderful sunsets! Although a little warmer this year, we cooled off in the pool and with ample ceiling fans, were able to get a comfortable sleep. With the ABC store not far away, and Lahaina just ten minutes drive, this condo is well situated and in close proximity to beaches, convenience stores, great shopping, and a large array of restaurants. Of course, we will be returning to this wonderful vacation spot next year!

  Our holiday was really lovely and this condo was the perfect size for 3 people. Yes it is a little bit older but the kitchen and lower bathroom have been renovated and I'm sure more is to follow.Also the price reflects this, which was a good deal for Maui, literally steps from the ocean! No AC but lots of fans and nice refreshing winds off the ocean at night. Great snorkelling right from the small private beach and the turtles really are amazing! It would be nice if the owners invested in a couple of more beach chairs as there was only one as well as a small cooler. The only thing that wasn't perfect was that they were doing some major irrigation work during our stay which was unfortunately right in front of our Lanai. There were water interruptions and noise from the digger which wasn't ideal for a holiday. Of course we understood that the work needed to be done it was just bad timing for us. We did get 2 days before the work started to enjoy the otherwise beautiful grounds and quiet time. Work didn't start early in the morning however and was done before 5 except for Friday unfortunately when they worked until almost 6 which is the time everyone likes to sit out and enjoy the sunset. Great location, clean condo, very quiet at night and friendly people like everywhere we went on Maui. Would definitely return to this condo.

Some are more basic and some are more modern. This particular condo didn't catch the wind as much so the upstairs was a bit warmer than the downstairs. The kitchen and downstairs bathroom is newly remodeled.

  We have stayed at the Polynesian Shores once before and found it a great choice then. Our stay in 2016 was only three days but our unit was even more perfectly situated and more nicely appointed - real charm. The rooms were clean and very well maintained. The access to all the residences in the south wing passes through a delightful tropical garden, softening the transition from an ocean-shore paradise to reality. The manager was very helpful with some timing adjustments to our stay. Polynesian Shores gets an A+.
  
  The location is interesting in being only a mile or so north of the big hotels where the beaches are wide and filled with people. The beach is narrower at Polynesian Shores but peace, quiet and good snorkeling are in greater supply. It is an easy drive to Kapalua golf and ziplines and to Lahaina with diverse shopping, restaurants and boat activities like whale watching. We might go to other islands, but on Maui we are sold on the Polynesian Shores.

  Very nice setting, close to the seashore, view from the balcony on the turtles and whales, within short distance from a small beach to enter into the water for snorkeling, fantastic with lots of turtles. Appartment slighly aging but nice set-up with one room with bath at the first floor, one with bath in the mezzanine, fully equipped kitchen, barbecues available by the pool, ... I would return anytime

  This is the 5th time we have stayed at Polynesian Shores however the first time in this unit #225. We had a great time however this unit could use some repairs and some updating. The screen on the slider appears to have been repaired several times but think it's time to buy a new one. It is VERY hard to open and close and in fact, the wheels on the bottom are not even attached. The master/loft bath also leaves a lot to be desired. This is a HUGE bathroom and simply needs to be remodeled. Get the toilet out of the corner stuck between the shower and vanity.

  My family had a great time. Polynesian Shores is in a great location. The condo was perfect for my husband and I and our two daughters. The best part was sitting on the lanai and watching the sunset and, of course, the turtles, Also, was really nice to walk down to the little sandy beach and the snorkle right there. Definitely will return!!!!
