A LITTLE ABOUT THIS CONDO....
Welcome to Polynesian Shores 201. Located on the second floor, the three-bedroom, three-bath condo can sleep eight guests. The Master bedroom has a king, and the second bedroom has a queen. While the loft bedroom has two twin beds and one queen size bed. Tropically furnished and appointed, this condo has recently been remodeled and redecorated to make your stay even more enjoyable. The ceiling has special insulation for cooling mixed with high powered ceiling fans. For indoor entertainment, cable TV's and a DVD/CD player are provided. The fully equipped kitchen adds to your cooking and dining pleasure. The large wrap around lanai is a great spot for total relaxation with its panoramic view, and provides guests with a wonderful dining location. The flaming sunsets are always spectacular and each is unique in its panorama of exploding color.

A LITTLE ABOUT OUR PROPERTY....
Polynesian Shores is a beautiful oceanfront resort. Sit on your private lanai enjoy the fragrant plumeria trees, the sound of the waves breaking against the shoreline, you will enjoy the breeze of the palm trees. Take in the breathtaking view of the vast ocean, seeing the island of Molokai and Lanai. You will be able to see sea turtles swimming close to the rocky shore. In the winter months the Whales as they play near the surface, you can see the mist from their blow sprouts, tails slap on the Pacific Ocean. Take pleasure in our pool and hot tub, or barbecue up a delicious mean on the barbecue's and enjoy a picnic table on our beautifully well manicured grounds that overlook the ocean. In the evening enjoy the tiki torches and the spectacular Maui Sunsets . We are family friendly resort. We also have free parking for each condo, free internet, and an onsite laundry room, bring your own laundry soap & quarters. This is a smoke/vape free property.

WHERE ARE WE...
Our property is direct oceanfront property with unobstructed ocean views, located between the beautiful resorts of Ka'anapali and Kapalua. Honokowai, is special little neighborhood, many people pass by and wave a "shaka" at you! You can walk to local bars, restaurants, and Farmers Market Maui, which sells fresh organic local produce. A large times market and a food truck park. There's places to rent beach gear, mopeds, all within walking distance. We are close to several beach parks and world famous golf courses, located both up and down the coast. Only a few minutes away from the Whalers Village on world famous Ka'anapali Beach, home to the Whale Museum, along with numerous shops, restaurants and art galleries.

COME SEE ALL MAUI HAS TO OFFER....
A sunset cruise around the island makes for a perfect romantic evening. If you’re curious about what goes on under the waves, snorkeling tours are a great way to view the incredible variety of life that lives under the surface of the ocean. Helicopter tours are an excellent way to take in views of the whole island, including incredible waterfalls, sea cliffs, and forests you would be hard pressed to view on foot. For those looking for a little more excitement, check out the zip lines at the Haleakala Skyline Tour. There's also Horseback riding tours. Road to Hana, which has 620 curves and 59 bridges, the road leads you through flowing waterfalls, flourishing rainforest, plunging pools and dramatic seascapes. Maui has some of the worlds most famous beaches to check out.

  WOW absolutely amazing view when we opened the door!!! The condo is beautiful and lacked nothing! While watched every am & pm - plenty of room for 3 couples- kitchen is VERY well equipped, condo was very clean- great location- central to everything and walking sidewalk to walk for coffee- small farmers market - LOVED IT!! The only issue we had was with the key pad entry. I called property manager Bree she answered right away and provided access for locked
  key. Bree was extremely helpful in communication throughout making our plans to come to Maui. We went on a whale watch through Trelani which was awesome/well worth it and informative, amazing food and drinks at Monkepod- a must try cinnamon roll at Papis Ohana - wonderful dinner at the Sea House with great food & views. We did a lot of walking - my daughter lives down the street- we walked to Kapalua beautiful ocean walk - went to food trucks - Island Vibes for an açaí bowl & breakfast sandwiches (a must)- went to Dukes Beach & Whalers everyday! We will be back to Maui in July. MAHALO for the great time🤙

  We had a great stay in this unit. It’s very pretty, and well-kept.... views are unbeatable. Polynesian Shores is our go to property when we are in Maui and we have nothing but positive things we can say about the entire property in general and just love the quaint yet beautiful suroundings...There were only two things that my family commented on while staying in this unit that we wished could be a little different and that was the neighbor in the building north of this property has their TV blaring late into the night every night...and with all windows open it makes you feel like youre watching TV with them....also the upstairs of this unit does get stuffy even with the windows open, ceiling fan and two floor fans on-it was not horrible, but was some thing that we would have liked a little more cool...... We would not hesitate to stay in this unit again it is absolutely beautiful and very comfortable and the nicest unit we’ve stayed in at Polynesian Shores so far ������

  Our stay was everything we hoped for and more! The wall to wall view did not disappoint! The location was 5 mins away from our favorite family friendly beach DT Fleming. The condo came with Camp chairs, Tommy Bahama chairs, and all of the kitchen tools and bathroom supplies needed for a comfortable stay. We traveled with grandparents and our three teens and had plenty of room for everyone. Be aware that to get to this condo some walking and climbing up and down steps is required. We look forwa4d to staying here again!

  The location is perfect, a quiet 3 bedroom retreat just a few steps from the Ocean. There is limited access to the ocean, but close to a very small and private beach area that we shared with sea turtles every afternoon.

  The view!!! We came during whale season and could see humpbacks beaching in the distance from inside the living room! Just wow!
  The beach is rocky and difficult to access from the condos, so if you’re wanting to swim in the ocean, plan to drive to one of the many public beaches. Parking was also a bit tricky, having rented a minivan, the one parking spot designated for this unit is very tight getting in and out. But the condo was otherwise nice.

  You will not find a ocean front condo with a view like this! Our family has traveled the world and we always start our journey in a better mood and hopeful anticipation when we arrive at a spotlessly clean unit - and unit #201 does not disappoint. The corner unit location of #201 allows you to view an unobstructed view of Molokai and Lanai, not to mention any whale and her baby that may be in sight. We’ve seen spinner dolphins parading just hundreds of feet off shore and the massive sea turtles come up on the shore to soak up the sun. We love Unit #201 and love the recent updates - feels fresh and inviting. Polynesian Shores grounds are immaculate, dotted with tropical plants and blooms. Someone on site strategically places orchids on tree trunks with passion and care. Even without A/C, this unit is always breezy and in January/February/March (our favorite time to come), we have to sleep under blankets at night. This is a quiet, casual place to relax and watch the best sunsets in Hawaii under the glow of the tiki torches with happy people enjoying life. There’s also and pool, attached hot tub, and a ample, ready to use gas grills poolside.

It’s the best location in that complex by far. Every room perfectly updated and furnished with everything we could of asked for. The staff was amazing on check in and out and all the hoops the COVID panic unnecessarily created. The grounds were gorgeous, parking was abundant. We will be back!

  We brought our 4 adult children to this beautiful 2nd floor corner unit, and it was the perfect layout and space for us. We spent a week and thoroughly enjoyed the comforts and decorating touches the owners have invested in their home. The corner wrap around lanai has the perfect amount of space to allow us to each have our own, or to sit together. The oceanfront view is well, ideal! Countless sea turtles were viewed from our lanai, or from a short walk to the nearby beach. The kitchen is well equipped with several sets of dishes and pans galore, and the appliances were excellent. There is no want for almost anything. We needed to provide some basics like foil, plastic wrap, and cooking oil, but we understand the unit went under some renovation before our stay. Lots of good quality beach/pool toys, along with plenty of reading material for island exploration made it fun and easy to do things. The pool is perfect for adults and kids, a very short walk from our unit (within eyesight of the lanai). We used one of the Weber grills, enjoying a perfect steak, while the kids went out on their date night. I highly recommend this unit! This is a “no worries” location with attentive friendly staff and we would love to go back and savor some more beautiful sunsets!

  Great location and quiet. Nice pool, very well maintain grounds. This unit being on the corner was wonderful. Great ocean sound and decent breeze in August. It did get a bit warm on the second floor at times with no air conditioner (we knew that prior to booking) – just plan ahead, open everything up as soon as you get back and use the fans before you go to bed and everything was fine for us. Falling asleep to the sounds of real waves and waking up to singing birds beats out AC any day.
  We appreciated the beach toys, chairs and boogie boards. Well equipped kitchen, generally clean throughout. Not the most updated furniture wise but we went to Hawaii to be outside, not indoors. Had some ant issues in the upstairs bathroom but overall, on the low side of number of bugs for a tropical unit.
  General tip: The Times Supermarket just 2 miles away met all our needs and seemed cheaper and better stocked than the big, newer looking Safeway in Lahaina.

  This condo has million dollar views. You can see both Lanai and Molokai The large wrap around deck is perfect to view turtles whales dolphins and sunsets. There are some maintenance items needed in this unit, especially new shower heads. They are terrible. The location couldn't be better. Easier beach access would be a huge plus but I understand the logistics of dealing with the county to make that happen. I spoke with Don (owner) next door and he explained some of the upcoming renovations so we will be looking forward to our next visit...probably Feb or March 2020.

  We have been to Maui several times and this is by far the best view we’ve ever had!!! We were a little concerned that the place had no AC but it wasn’t an issue with the great trade winds that came in. We had 6 people and it worked perfectly. My only thing I would say is that I feel they should have provided more bath towels, but that wasn’t that big of an issue. We would highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to go back again!!!

  I can not say enough about how much we enjoyed staying here! The location of this unit in particular can not be beat, it is a corner unit so we got the ocean breeze from every side and the view was beyond belief!! Whales jumping everywhere and the sea turtles literally came out if the ocean and right up beside you to say hello. The unit was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The property is also very well kept and the grills were cleaned daily so no worries. This is a very small resort property and because of that, it was quiet and not over crowded at the pool. Every one was extremely friendly from the residents to the management. We had only one small problem when we arrived, one of the TV's was not working, this would normally not even be a problem, but the Olympic's were on!!HaHa. Someone came immediately and took care of the problem! I would highly recommend this property to everyone and especially this unit! If we ever decide to stay on Maui again, we will definitely come back.

  This was our third time staying in unit 201. We had a wonderful time. The kitchen is well equipped and everything works. There were new, more comfortable chairs on the lanai. The view is fantastic. 270 degrees and unobstructed. The grounds are well kept and the staff is friendly and helpful.
  The only issue we had was with the door not locking and it was fixed a couple hours after I reported it to the front desk. The pool gets sun all day and was never so crowded that we couldn't find a place to lounge. The beds are comfortable and the unit was clean when we arrived. There are always picky little things I can mention, but overall, if you need three bedroom and want to stay in a lovely spot, this place is pretty much impossible to beat. I am partial to smaller facilities with fewer guests, so this was ideal.

  My family stayed here over Thanksgiving 2017. The manager was more than accommodating for our needs as we needed to check in a little early before picking the rest of our party up at the airport.   Polynesian Shores was the perfect place for a family vacation. We had 3 couples and a 19 month old daughter/grand daughter. The space was very adequate and the wrap around deck provided a lot of extra space. The grounds provided walks, swimming, snorkeling, football tossing and beautiful sunsets. We cooked a high percentage of our meals in the kitchen that was equipped with all the essentials. Thanks for a great family experience. If I was to make one change it would be a drop down sun shade on the deck to alleviate the afternoon westerly heat.

  Especially in the whale season, you'll never need to leave the wrap-around deck of 201; the 'wow' when you open the door to this unit carries with you right out to the deck, where I pretty much could have spent my entire trip! Wonderful property... the grounds, BBQ and pool area are as well-kept as the unit. Only note to future travelers, this unit sleeps enough to warrant 2 cars; but, there is only one parking spot with NO OPTION for additional parking on-site. Available parking for additional cars is across the street in a residential area, where parking can be difficult to locate and I harvested an unpleasant note from a local resident who definitely does not like guests from the condominium properties parking on 'their street'. If you can economize your group into a single vehicle, life will be simpler at this unit.

  It was a great location. After hours check in was easy. The unit #201 was well stocked especially in the kitchen with dishes, glassware, utensils and cookware. The ocean views and wrap around deck were spectacular. Evening dining and whale watching was amazing. It also easily accommodated 6 adults and baby. The internet connection was great and each bedroom had a TV as well. Pool was never overcrowded and the evening lighting of torches was a nice touch. The beach wasn't accessible during our stay due to high surf but we did see the turtles swimming. Never missed air conditioning since the ocean breezes and fans kept the unit very comfortable. Thanks for sharing your little piece of paradise.

  My family and I had a great vacation in unit 201 at Polynesian shores! It easily accommodated our party of 8 adults. You can't get any closer to the ocean. The views were spectacular, whether it be watching the turtles, whales or sunsets! We were lulled to sleep each night by the waves beneath our lanai. Our only complaint was there was no beach while we were on Maui due to wave erosion. Polynesian Shores is a great place to stay if you want a restful vacation away from the big resort crowds but still close to activities!

  We just returned from a 5 night say at the Polynesian Shores. We stayed in a 3 bedroom/3 bathroom unit #201, 20 feet from the ocean. The wrap around lanai/balcony was amazing! We spent most of our time there, and spotted many whales, sea turtles, and had fun watching the surfers. I can't say enough about this condo and the complex itself. It was beautiful, well maintained, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
  
  There's not much of a beach, but the view and sound of the waves crashing at night more than made up for it. There's so many awesome beaches in Maui to explore, and this condo was a perfect home base to come back to after our adventures.

  This was our second stay at Polynesian Shores and we loved it. The apartment was clean, had all the necessary supplies and in terms of location it was great: not in the hotel zone (which we liked) but not too far, with a good heated pool, and manicured landscape. Experienced turtles and whales sightings from our deck. We even snorkeled with the turtles in the bay below our balcony. Secluded beach 1 minute walking. The only improvement to the management would be to consider the fact that most flights to the island arrive very late and therefore they leave even later on the way back. A little bit unfair to charge 1/2 day for a late check-out (example: arrived at midnight on 1st day and left the apartment at 8 pm on last day).

  We had room 210 which had the most panoramic view of the ocean. Every morning we set off to sea turtles which were just a scurry of rocks over and every night we fell asleep to waves crashing onto the beach.   We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in unit 201. There were 3 couples and we had plenty of room.
  The unit was very clean and every thing we needed. If we were any closer to the water, we would have been wet. This unit has a wrap around deck which was great for the morning and evening viewing. Giant sea turtles came ashore during the day. We saw 7 one afternoon.
  Close to restaurants and shopping. The rental staff was very helpful.
  3 things to be aware of. No air conditioning, which seems to be common on all the islands.
  Laundry is not in the unit, but on the property and with the windows open and rough seas, it can be a little noisy trying to sleep.
  We were there during Tropical Storm Ana and that could have been why the wave were a little rough.
  We stayed on three of the islands. We all agreed that this was the best place we stayed and all of us would come back to this unit in a heart beat. Would highly recommend this unit to anyone.

  Our week in Maui was enhanced by the great accommodations and friendly people. Our unit looked out over the ocean, what a view. The unit was well equipped and accommodated the 4 of us nicely (it was great to fix meals in when we wanted to, especially at breakfast - plenty of delicious fruit from the Farmer's Market down the road). It was quiet and restful. This was our second time to Hawaii, the first 10 years ago was to Kauai. Everyone was helpful, friendly and went out of their way to help us. It is a definite must, and Polynesian Shores Resort is the perfect place to stay.

  Very happy and would return. Clean, amazing views and courtyard. Reasonably close to grocery store and shops... longer walk or short drive.
  No Air conditioning, sometimes during the day it was a little warm.
