Polynesian Shores 222. When you think of Maui, what comes to your mind? The perfect weather? Or how about the enticing blue ocean? You can enjoy all of that is this lovely two bedroom condo, that sleeps up to six guest. Both bedrooms have comfy queen sized beds and the living room has a fold out sofa sleeper. This condo has special insulation for cooling along with ceiling fans. It is has all the comforts for a perfect get away. The kitchen is well equipped to cook up a delicious meal. From the living room and lanai, you will enjoy panoramic ocean views and nightly sunsets, as well as sweeping views of the grounds and pool. the lanai is perfect for unwind at the end of your day sipping on Mai Tai's, or starting your day off with coffee. For indoor entertainment, cable TV is provided. Come enjoy your Maui vacation in our place of paradise.

A LITTLE ABOUT OUR PROPERTY....
Polynesian Shores is a beautiful oceanfront resort. Sit on your private lanai enjoy the fragrant plumeria trees, the sound of the waves breaking against the shoreline, you will enjoy the breeze of the palm trees. Take in the breathtaking view of the vast ocean, seeing the island of Molokai and Lanai. You will be able to see sea turtles swimming close to the rocky shore. In the winter months the Whales as they play near the surface, you can see the mist from their blow sprouts, tails slap on the Pacific Ocean. Take pleasure in our pool and hot tub, or barbecue up a delicious mean on the barbecue's and enjoy a picnic table on our beautifully well manicured grounds that overlook the ocean. In the evening enjoy the tiki torches and the spectacular Maui Sunsets . We are family friendly resort. We also have free parking for each condo, free internet. There is a new onsite laundry room, you can download an app on your phone or you can purchase a laundry card from the card kiosk in the laundry room. The easy to follow instruction are in the laundry room, bring your own laundry soap.

WHERE ARE WE...
Our property is direct oceanfront property with unobstructed ocean views, located between the beautiful resorts of Ka'anapali and Kapalua. Honokowai, is special little neighborhood, many people pass by and wave a "shaka" at you! You can walk to local bars, restaurants, and Farmers Market Maui, which sells fresh organic local produce. A large times market and a food truck park. There's places to rent beach gear, mopeds, all within walking distance. We are close to several beach parks and world famous golf courses, located both up and down the coast. Only a few minutes away from the Whalers Village on world famous Ka'anapali Beach, home to the Whale Museum, along with numerous shops, restaurants and art galleries.
We are looking forward to you coming and enjoying our beautiful island. Closer to your check in date you will be sent instructions for check in.

COME SEE ALL MAUI HAS TO OFFER....
A sunset cruise around the island makes for a perfect romantic evening. If you’re curious about what goes on under the waves, snorkeling tours are a great way to view the incredible variety of life that lives under the surface of the ocean. Helicopter tours are an excellent way to take in views of the whole island, including incredible waterfalls, sea cliffs, and forests you would be hard pressed to view on foot. For those looking for a little more excitement, check out the zip lines at the Haleakala Skyline Tour. There's also Horseback riding tours. Road to Hana, which has 620 curves and 59 bridges, the road leads you through flowing waterfalls, flourishing rainforest, plunging pools and dramatic seascapes. Maui has some of the worlds most famous beaches to check out.

  The condo was clean and had a beautiful view of the ocean! Sitting on the balcony was amazing. We were there 4 nights and would recommend it to anyone wanting a nice place to stay. Just a couple things to know, upstairs room was warm even with the fans. We could not sleep without them and they were loud but we were so tired from our daily activities we were able to sleep. The beds were ok, not the most comfortable but not bad. Overall the place was great and we would definitely come back.

  We loved it here for our family! Clean, and well kept! Also LOVED the fact they had lights on, shutters open and towels so nicely on our beds waiting for us when we arrived later at night. We also LOVED it was sooo quiet in the back bedroom because it only backs onto a pathway/ trees so the street noise is more distant.

  We really enjoyed our stay at the Polynesian Shores; we were looking for a quiet get away to recoup from busy work lives and got just that. The views are amazing, from your lanai you can watch whales in the distance. The kids loved the pool and being able to see the turtles everyday on the shoreline. The parents enjoyed morning coffee and afternoon cocktails on the lanai each day. We loved this property as it is not nearly as busy as the bigger hotels/condos - never an issue finding a chair at the pool. There is no true beach but instead little pockets of sand amongst the rocks; the upside is that the turtles come to visit almost daily to eat from the rocks.

  I love the location of Polynesian Shores. The view from the lanai is always spectacular. Whales breaching not too far from shoreline, and this trip we saw an amazing amount of giant sea turtles on the rocky shoreline below! We counted 9 on the rocks and many more in the water! I will always choose to stay here! Walkable to Napili sand beach. Beautiful grassy lawn surrounded the pool and spa. Condo is great for a couple or a group.

  Stayed in 222. First time staying in the upstairs, larger units. Was nice to have the bigger space but missed the lanai’s downstairs. Haven’t been to Maui since 2017, sucks that the small beach has since been washed away but the turtles still come out to feed by the rocks. Units are in better shape than the last time I stayed and the keyless entry is nice. The BBQ grills were giving us trouble but it worked out. Can’t wait for my 4th stay!

  I’ve stayed at Polynesian Shores many times and keep returning. The recent remodels were great improvements. I love the small environment and out of the hustle & bustle of large crowds. It’s so nice to see the huge grassy area where the kids can run and 0lay. Polynesian Shores is always so well maintained and clean. Being within walking distance of Bad *** coffee, the ABC Store and the fish market is a plus. The addition of the spa is also a plus. One of my favorite restaurants close by is the Maui Brewing Company...good food and great beer. This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed in #222 and I think it has one of the best views. For a large family, I highly recommend #201...I was there 3 years ago with my family and 8 of us stayed in that unit. The kitchen is a little small for that many people but there’s plenty of lanai space and beds. It was perfect. I give Polynesian Shores a 10!

  We had a wonderful time in Maui, staying at #222 with our 15, 28, and 20 year old children. The condo was extremely clean, well appointed, comfortable and beautiful. Our son said the hide away sofa was really comfortable. The grounds and pool are so pretty. We took full advantage of the poolside grills (and buying fish at The Fish Market) to prepare dinner “at home” bc of Covid. It’s close to supermarkets, beaches, boogie boarding, snorkeling. We went for runs every morning along the main streets and never felt unsafe bc of traffic. We will be back!

  My family and I flew over to Maui during the pandemic in November 2020. We did not receive our covid 19 test results by the time we landed in Maui and the place we had planned to stay at would not let us check in without our negative test results. Our friend had told us about the Polynesian Shores condos. The property manager, Bree, was incredibly accommodating to get us into a beautiful condo at a last minutes notice. We had to quarantine of course until we received our results but it was only one day so not too bad. The condo had the most comfortable beds- I have a bad back so this was special to get good sleep. The unit, 222, had just been totally remodeled, it was very nice and comfortable with everything we needed. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and the pool. The grounds are very well taken care of and we enjoyed that this development was on the smaller side, not a massive building with tons of people. The place was also in a great location- walking distance to a great farmers market, coffee shop and some other eateries. Also in close driving distance to some great beaches, Napili Bay being one of them. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

    Aloha! Although we do have a very nearby small airport the main airport is about a 45 minute drive across the beautiful coastline. There are many activities do do here in West Maui although being that this is the smaller side of the island most sights are another drive back along the coastline.   We love it, thus, we keep returning, beautiful views, friendly, great location. Favorites are snorkeling at Honalua or kapalua, variety of beaches for playing in the surf, viewing many turtles. #222 could use a couple fixes: the hole where toilet is hooked into the wall, and the upstairs medicine cabinet shelves are tippy. Some kitchen items missing such as cookie sheet, full measuring cups and fan in unit needs replacing as well as the addition of at least one more fan for downstairs would be nice.

  The unit was in a nicely maintain complex. This particular unit was just beginning to get a bit tired(sliding screen door needs repair,deck sliding door lock not functional, wifi not secure and kept dropping out, some woodwork showing wear and tear, bathroom could use additonal towel rod or hooks for drying wet towels and clothes). Got use to the few ants that showed up only in the morning in the bathroom. I would rent a unit again at the Polynesian Shores, but would try and get another unit that was a bit more updated.

  Our trip was wonderful!! The condo was clean and fairly spacious for the four of us. We loved having the full kitchen at our disposal. The view was amazing and we saw turtles every day and liked that we had our own little beach to ourselves. We didn't see the property manager and did put a call in that was never returned but it wasn't for anything extremely important, so not a big deal.
