Polynesian Shores 223. You will be amazed at the OCEAN VIEW, the two acres of lush tropical landscaping, the heated pool, and the easy access to the nearby beach.

Your condo is located on the second floor of this low-rise resort and is just a stone's throw from the ocean. If you are coming to Maui to relax and enjoy the beauty of the island, the sound of the waves, and incredible sunsets, then this is where you want to be. Snorkeling, sunbathing, & watching the sea turtles can be done right in front of the resort at a small beach.
The condo has two bedrooms; one on the main floor and one upstairs. Both have new plush queen-sized mattresses and comforters. The downstairs bathroom has a tub/shower and the upstairs bath has a walk-in shower. Our condo and its lanai are non-smoking, as are the common areas of the resort.

The living room has ample comfortable seating, a cathedral ceiling, a smart TV. A wonderful view of the ocean, the grounds, and the pool! You have your choice of dining inside or outside on your lanai...either is a great choice! The kitchen is fully-equipped stainless steel appliances, a dishwasher, dinnerware...everything you need (besides the food) to cook up fresh fish from the local fish market, or whatever your specialty may be. There are several grocery stores close by.

We are within a 5-10 minute drive to great shopping, top-notch galleries, amazing We are located between the beautiful Ka’anapali resorts and Kapalua. restaurants, and world-class golf courses. But, most importantly, we are far enough away from the noise and congestion of the busy resort areas so that you can enjoy the natural beauty of Maui at your leisure.
As the owners of this condo, we obviously think that it's a wonderful place to stay. After you have vacationed here, we are sure that you will also agree. We have taken care to furnish it to be comfortable and have everything you need for your vacation. And the views and sunsets...well, you will be amazed!

A sunset cruise around the island makes for a perfect romantic evening. If you’re curious about what goes on under the waves, snorkeling tours are a great way to view the incredible variety of life that lives under the surface of the ocean. Helicopter tours are an excellent way to take in views of the whole island, including incredible waterfalls, sea cliffs, and forests you would be hard pressed to view on foot. For those looking for a little more excitement, check out the zip lines at the Haleakala Skyline Tour. There's also Horseback riding tours. Road to Hana, which has 620 curves and 59 bridges, the road leads you through flowing waterfalls, flourishing rainforest, plunging pools and dramatic seascapes. Maui has some of the worlds most famous beaches to check out.

  This is our second time staying at Polynesian Shores. Such a beautiful view to wake up too everyday. Unit 223 was clean and had cute Hawaiian décor. Beds were comfy. Loved that you can walk down(it is rocky) and see turtles almost everyday on the beach to the right or left of the condos. The pool was clean and we had a fun time swimming and soaking in the hot tub. We will definitely be back! Only thing I missed was the fresh pineapple upon arrival. Also loved the keyless entry so we didn't need to worry about losing a key :)

  We have been staying at this property for 20+ years. We always love it and so much appreicate the staff. This includes the booking managers, the cleaning crew and the resident manager. This property has many vacation rentals and we have noticed many owners are now living in their units full time too. So there are definite quiet hours and rules to respect. It's a wonderful place to come with many family members and friends, everyone can get their own condo and it's easy to meet up for drinks, cooking on the grill, swimming at the pool, and snorkeling out front in the ocean. Just a wonderful place to enjoy family, friends and Maui!

  When we arrived at the condo, the lights welcomed us in, and background Hawaiian music played. The condo was clean and well appointed. The remote for the TV didn't work, but was promptly replaced. The coffee maker didn't work right but we really didn't need it. Nice ambiance to the whole CO plex. So much nicer than being in a busy high-rise.

  Absolutely loved this place! Great location within a few minutes of grocery stores, restaurants, and Lahaina, and it had amazing views! The room had every accommodation of home, so we wanted for nothing! We had five in our group, and we were very comfortable the entire stay. They keep the grounds well-maintained, and the pool was very nice. There’s not a sandy beach; it is lava rock, but we didn’t mind since the pool area was so nice, and there are sandy beaches just a short drive away. My only recommendation that would have made it even better would be to have some umbrellas out by the pool so you could get out of the sun for a bit without having to go back to the room. Otherwise it was fantastic!

  It was my 3D time visiting Maui and I had the best experience so far by staying at Polynesian Shores condominium with breathtaking views.
  The check in process under COVID precautions was so easy, the manager provided a code for the door, no key needed, this is awesome. The condo was clean and had everything I need for comfortable stay ( well equipped kitchen, snorkeling equipment, sun umbrellas and more).
  I had breakfast everyday on the balcony with breathtaking view towards the ocean. During the night with open windows you have full emmersion into mixture of ocean waves sound and birds singing— extremely relaxing.
  The condo located minutes from the beach and 8 minutes driving to my favorite Kaanapali beach. At night I was enjoying hot tube under the stars.
  Will definitely come back and stay again at Polynesian shores.

  We enjoyed our time in 223. The kitchen was VERY well-stocked, the lanai had a sturdy set of table/chairs, and the unit was very clean upon arrival. They had a toaster, every kind of utensil we needed, and lots of pots. We had our one year old twins with us, and the unit was not exactly safe for them (lots of tile, glass topped furniture, swivel chairs). I don't think any other unit would have been safer, though. It was hot, but the two upright fans and ceiling fans in each room kept it somewhat comfortable at night. The bathrooms were both pretty dated and cleaned as well as they could have been. Stairs were fine and sturdy enough (unlike some other units we had read about). The only con was that the loft bed dipped in the middle, even with the foam topper that it had.

  So happy we found the Polynesian Resort. The place was a perfect size for my family of four. Bree, the resort manager, was extremely helpful as I was booking this place last minute. Everyone I met in the resort are super friendly and just my kind of people, family oriented, hardworking people who just want a nice vacation. Met some of the property owners too who live in the mainland. The place has a nice small beach that is haven for turtles. The kids really enjoyed watching them eat, swim and rest at shores. Snorkeling wasn’t bad, too. This place is between and very close to nice beaches In the Northwest side of Maui. It was awesome finding this place.

  We had an amazing stay. Every single day we saw a huge sea turtles on the quiet little sandy beach steps from our condo. The condo was perfect for four of us. And had everything we needed including a blender and iron. The property is a great location 10 minutes from Lahaina five minutes from Kaanapali and a very short distance to Napili Beach. We never use the pool but we’re very impressed that it was cleaned and maintained every single day. Family oriented area. Would absolutely stay here again.

  We have friends who own a unit at Polynesian Shores, so we knew that we wanted to stay at this property. We also knew that the lanai of the 2-bedroom Unit 223 would be in the shade all day, so we booked it. This unit and this property are fantastic in every way. The beautiful grounds and landscaping are maintained meticulously, as are the wonderful pool and BBQ area. Each unit has its own assigned free parking spot. Our unit was delightful, well furnished, and very comfortable, and it had a well stocked kitchen for preparing meals. The neighbors and their guests were always quiet and friendly. Shopping for food and other necessities is close by. We go to Maui every year, so we know the island very well. If you are looking for a great west Maui ocean-front setting at a reasonable price, Polynesian Shores would be hard to beat.

  This is my second time staying at Polynesian Shores. It's a great, small condo community in a perfect location in West Maui, between Kaanapali and Napili beaches. Beautiful sunsets, lots of sea turtles, friendly community with some units owned and lived in by locals, food and shopping within walking distance. Really, couldn't ask for more. Accommodations were just fine. This is not a luxury resort, it's a local environment that lets you really feel a part of beautiful Maui for the time you are there. The office staff were helpful, Tina especially was gracious and upbeat. Laundry facilities are available. The kitchen was well appointed. Wi-fi is secure and worked great. Highly recommend this place if you want a relaxed, home-like environment for your Hawaii vacation!

  Was a very nice place to stay, quiet, clean and well-maintained. Rocky shoreline, you will have to drive to reach a sandy beach. There are around 13 steps to reach second floor condo. Step going up to loft are quite steep, not good for people with mobility problems. Downstairs bathroom needs to be upgraded. Customer service was very good, any problems that we encountered were fixed. Short drive to shops at Front Street.

  My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Polynesian Shores. It was a perfect fit for 5 adults. The kitchen had everything we needed. The furniture was comfortable, even the pull out couch! The ocean view was definitely the highlight for us. We were able to see whales jumping daily and walked down on the rocks to see sea turtles resting. It was quiet - much nicer then the large resort style places. Close to beaches and the binder in the condo helped us learn about the best around! Thanks for a great stay.

  Staff was super friendly and helpful. Loved the quite location and the huge amount of turtles right off the beach. Kitchen was very well stocked and the place was clean and comfortable. Only complaint was the bed upstairs was WAY too soft which really affected my back. Bed would be better without the thick, super soft foam topper!

  This is a wonderful place to stay.
  We were there 8 days with our 2 teenagers and were very confortable.
  We were having dîner almost every night on the balcony watching the magical sunsets. The mezzanine was perfect witn new bathroom and confortable bed but, the room and bathroom on the first floor needs attention...
  Everybody there were absolutely charming and the condo is 10 minutes from the most cute town Lahaina.

  Great views and very quiet grounds. Condo had very simple furniture in living room. Beds were very comfortable. Really enjoyed all of the extra beach equipment: chairs, umbrellas, cooler, and football. We left a mat to lay on. Laundry room was nice but wished the hours were a little longer to match the "quiet time" rules of the condo. That extra hour would help because you get back later from activities. Also would be nice to have a change machine in there! Would be nice to hang towels from the bacloney to dry in the trade winds but understand why they don't want them there. Great location because it's close to good food and beaches without all the traffic and noise.

  Magnificent! Total relaxation this 2 bed 2 bath unit was clean and well stocked with living necessities such as paper towels, toilet paper, beach chairs, coolers, beach towels and beach Toys. The kitchen had all the necessities as well. The view in every unit is breathtaking and the grounds are beautiful. The 3 big grills available for us to use were super for cooking. The big bonus is this is a smoke free property..

  We had a great time, the sound of the waves crashing just outside of our unit was very relaxing. The unit was clean and worked very well for our needs. the management staff were very pleasant and willing to help answer any questions. If we had any negative comments it would only be that the lower bedroom had a bed that was like a rock... But hey! You're on vacation, right?

  Don't expect luvury, moldy caulking in the bathrooms has to be taken care of.

  We were so pleased with the location of the Maui condo, being right on the coast. We loved watching the turtles swim/feed on the rocks and later beach themselves on the sand. Our teenage daughter was happy with the privacy of the upstairs loft bedroom and bathroom. My wife enjoyed early morning yoga on the lawn by the ocean's edge while I walked the beach looking for the turtles and sea shells. Unfortunately there was a disruption to the usual trade winds so it did get hotter that usual from what we were told. In such cases, more fans would be helpful. We found the other guests at the resort to be friendly. We would highly recommend this property to friends traveling to Maui.

  Overall great experience! The location is central for visiting several beaches and a short distance into Lahaina.
  The overall property was immaculate. Common bbq's are cleaned daily. Our unit was clean, new beds a plus. It lacked in bbq's utensils and the fry pans were warped and not efficient to use.

  The condo was great. The residents at the property were very friendly and helpful. No air conditioning was not a problem. BBQ grills worked great. Turtles napping on beach walking distance from condo was a thrill. Suffice it to say we will be returning here.
